How it works

Blocks the noise, passes the power

A series inductor in the supply line that somehow presents almost no impedance to the load current. The trick is winding direction — and it is easier to see than to describe.

Differential mode

Passes

FLUX CANCELS → low impedance

Load current flows out on one line and back on the other. The two fluxes are equal and opposite, so they cancel in the core — the choke is nearly invisible and your supply current is untouched.

Common mode

Blocks

FLUX ADDS → high impedance

Noise appears on both lines in the same direction at once. Now the fluxes add, the core presents its full impedance, and the noise is choked off before it reaches the mains.
Both windings share one core · current direction decides the outcome

  • Common Mode Chokes

    EE2506 / 4P / Horizontal

EE2506 based common mode choke, offering a low profile horizontal solution for EMI suppression.

    Inductance: 0.57mH - 47mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    EE2506 / 4P / Vertical

Vertical EE2506 common mode choke, combining standard EE core geometry with line filtering capabilities.

    Inductance: 0.57mH - 47mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    EE3007 / 4P / Vertical

Heavy-duty EE30/7 common mode choke for demanding power line filtering. The largest EE-core choke in the range, for line currents where a toroid of equivalent impedance would not fit the board.

    Inductance: 1mH - 68mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    ET24 / 4P / Vertical

ET24 common mode choke with excellent attenuation characteristics for broad frequency ranges.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    ET28 / 4P / Vertical

Robust ET28 common mode choke for higher current applications requiring reliable noise suppression.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    ET35 / 4P / Vertical

Large ET35 common mode choke for high-power industrial equipment line filtering.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T10

Smallest toroidal choke in the range, for adapters and low-power supplies where board area is the binding constraint. Bifilar wound so common mode impedance stays high without choking the differential current.

    Inductance: 0.5mH - 10mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T12.5

Compact T12.5 toroidal common mode choke. Excellent for minimizing leakage flux in tightly packed supplies.

    Inductance: 0.7mH - 15mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T14

T14 toroidal choke for LED drivers and small SMPS front ends. A common step up when a T12.5 runs out of window area before it runs out of impedance.

    Inductance: 1mH - 22mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T16

T16 toroidal common mode choke for appliance and lighting power inputs, wound to hold impedance across the 150kHz-30MHz conducted band.

    Inductance: 1mH - 33mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T20

T20 toroidal choke for mid-power industrial supplies and battery chargers. Larger window allows heavier wire where the line current rules out a smaller core.

    Inductance: 1mH - 47mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T23

T23 toroidal common mode choke for three-phase auxiliaries and higher-current single-phase inputs.

    Inductance: 1mH - 47mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T25

Standard T25 toroidal common mode choke. Provides high impedance over a wide frequency band.

    Inductance: 1mH - 68mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T30

T30 toroidal choke for inverter and drive inputs, where both the line current and the emissions target are high.

    Inductance: 2mH - 68mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    T35

Largest toroidal choke in the standard range, for solar inverters and industrial drives. Wound to order in round or flat wire depending on the current and the space available.

    Inductance: 2mH - 100mH

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    UT20 / 4P / Vertical

UT20 common mode choke offering high inductance in a compact vertical package.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    UU10.5 / 4P / Vertical

UU10.5 vertical common mode choke for mains line filtering in consumer electronics.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes

    UU9.8 / 4P / Horizontal

Compact UU9.8 common mode choke for effective EMI filtering in small power supplies.

    Mounting: THT

    View specification
  • Common Mode Chokes
